Palencia holds a Master of Liberal Arts, major in Information Technology Management at Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering degree at Mapua Institute of Technology, Manila Philippines. He taught Data Communications at University of Asia and the Pacific in Pasig City and Computer Programming and Statistics at Mapua Institute of Technology. Jonas Palencia is currently working as an Information Technology consultant to Fortune 500 companies in the United States, including telecommunicatiobs, biotechnology, pharmaceutical and internet companies. He is currently President of the Harvard Radclliffe Club of Worcester and was an Area Governor for the Toastmasters Club. Marjueve M. Palencia holds a Doctor of Education, major in Educational Administration (ADB) and a Master of Arts in Education major in Curriculum and Instruction (with highest distinction) degrees - both from Far Eastern University, Manila. He also holds a Bachelor of Classical Liberal Arts, major in Philosophy (with honors), and earned units for a Master of Arts in Philosophy at the Ateneo de Manila University.
